If you need to charge any other type of fee to a buyer, other than the usual buyer's premium or tax, you will use the Expense section to set it up. There might be a title transfer fee for a vehicle, or a shipping/delivery fee. You will also use this section to set up any charges you want to pass along to your sellers in addition to the usual commissions you'd charge. You can attach an expense to a certain lot or charge it to every lot in a tax class, perhaps vehicles. You can even pro-rate a flat expense, for example advertising or security, among all or just some of the sellers in your auction. The system can calculate the charge to pass along to each seller, pro-rated based on the percentage of his sales in the auction.
