The CUS OnLine Auction is designed to be an extension of your traditional, everyday auction business. You can hold an auction entirely online, without any in-person event at all, or you can allow pre-bidding online in advance of your in-person auction. With the CUS OnLine Auction, you can hold an in-person auction this morning and an online auction tonight, using the same software from the same industry leader. All of the data is in one fully integrated system.

Once you’ve created and catalogued your auction as usual, a few clicks will easily send it to the web along with all of the photos. There’s no need for any FTP program, since CUS does it all for you. Open it for registration and viewing when you’re ready, then allow bidding to start whenever you like. The auction includes features to search through the catalogue by category or key words, and can show sales results afterwards if you like. Make corrections to a lot description or add more lots to the online auction at any time, with one click! When you’re ready to close bidding on the website, the system will bring the auction back to your desktop complete with registered bidders and their bids, ready for you to execute. If the auction was completely online, you can even have the program execute all high bids as clerked sales automatically. The whole process is completely seamless, so there’s no need to re-enter bidders into the in-person auction. You’ll then easily email invoices to your successful bidders.

You set the rules for each auction, and you can see all of the action behind the scenes using the CUS Online button right on your desktop. You’ll see how many visitors are looking at your auction right now, and who is actively logged in. You decide whether to require deposits and approve every bidder before their bids are accepted. You decide the bid increments for each auction. The system even supports hidden "up to" bid limits set by the bidder on each lot. Each lot can close at a different time, and the system can set the staggered closing times for you. There’s even "soft" or "dynamic" closing, in which a bid submitted in the last minute extends the closing time another minute. If appropriate, you can display a "Reserve Not Met" message on each lot which will disappear once the bidding has reached the reserve on that lot.
